2001-10-22 this time it is broke.

At the library there is a computer program that we use to clock in and out. It is a simple interface. You must put your social security number in the box that says "social security number" and then click "in." Then, presumably much later, you put your social security number in the box that says, "social security number" and click "out."

If you don't put nine digits in the box that says "social security number" or if you put nine digits that do not correspond to your social security number in the box that says "social security number" the computer gets crabby and barks at you and you must click "ok" on the error message.

I am not at the library right now. However, I just got this in an email from Peth who is currently at the library:

Yes, I want to try the cream of acres again....we'll get an earlier start this time....Did you get your gum? Theresa was breaking the clock in program again, and i heard her mumble, "I should take a class on computers..." yah, well..

I thought you all should know.
